2006-07: Maia will compete in sprints and multi events for the Saints.
2004-05: Maia had a strong first year of intercollegiate track which included the Liberty League championship in the 100 hurdles outdoors and a second in the 55 hurdles indoors. She had a season's best of 9.49 in the 55 hurdles at the NYSCTC Championships and 16.69 in the 100 hurdles in the Liberty League meet. She had a 4.22 meter long jump and a 9.10 meter series in the triple jump.
At Salmon River High School
Maia played soccer and basketball in addition to running track and was a two-year All Academic in soccer and basketball and a four-year All Academic in track. A two year captain in track, she earned the Patti Baldwin Award as a senior and was second team All Northern in both soccer and track. A member of the National Honor Society, she received the National Student-Athlete Award. She intends to major in biology at St. Lawrence.
