A member of the Saint cross country team in the fall, Chelsea will run the middle distance events for the Saints in indoor and outdoor track

At Konawaena High School

McKenzie was a dual-sport athlete, competing in both Cross Country and Track. The Kona, HI native, who captained both teams her senior season, was the recipient of the "Top Three Big Island Runners Award" (XC) and landed on both the All-State (800m) and All-Big Island (800m) Teams for track. McKenzie was also impressive in the classroom, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the winner of the school's Biology Award.
