2006-07: Alexis Nuffer had a breakout freshman campaign for the Saints. She placed fourth in the 500 meter dash at the NYSCTC Championships with a time of 1:19.92, a season's best. She also ran on the distance medley relay team that took second at the championships and set a school record. Nuffer took second place in the 800 meter run at the Liberty League Indoor Championships and ran on the Liberty League Champion 4x400 meter relay team. Nuffer placed ninth at the ECAC Championships in the 500. At the 2007 Liberty League Outdoor Championships, Nuffer placed second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:25.19. She added a third place finish in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:57.54 and ran on the secon place finishing 4x400 meter relay team.

At Beaver River Central High School

Nuffer was a three sport athlete participating in cross country, basketball and track and field. A four-time Frontier League all-star in cross country and a three time Frontier League all-star in track and field, Nuffer was the State Class D Team Champion in 2004. She holds the school record in the 3200m relay and the 800m. Nuffer will participate in middle distance races for the Saints.

Nuffer received numerous scholarships including the New York State Lottery Scholarship, Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship and the Elizabeth B. Bush Scholarship.
