Kirsten Lannon '08
Topsfield, MA

Masconomet High School

Fall 2007: Lannon spent the fall semester of her senior year studying abroad in London. The Topsfield, MA native will return to action in the spring.

 

2006-2007: Lannon went 4-2 as the Saints number one singles player. She also collected a 6-2 record as a member of the number one doubles team with partner Liz Karam.

2005-2006: In the fall of her sophomore season, Lannon posted a 10-1 record in singles play. In dual matches, she was undefeated at 8-0, going 3-0 at #1 and 5-0 at #2. She advanced to the third round at the ITA Northeast Regionals. In the Saints win over William Smith, Lannon played at #1 and defeated Chelsea Rauck

6-4, 2-6, 6-3. She earned Liberty League First-Team Singles honors. In doubles action, she paired with junior Anne Moulin. The duo posted a 7-3 mark in dual matches and a 12-6 overall record and won the 2005 ITA Northeast Doubles Title. The pair went on to compete at the ITA Nationals in October. They earned First-Team Liberty League Doubles Honors and were ranked 10th in the Northeast in November.

 

2004-2005: In her rookie season, Lannon earned honorable mention all-conference honors in singles and in doubles with Courtney Ellis. For the season, she went 17-7 in singles play, including a 14-3 mark at #2. In the fall, she paired with Ellis and went 11-5, including 9-2 at #2. In the spring, Lannon paired with Anne Moulin and went 7-4. The duo, seeded second, won the A Flight Doubles at the William Smith Tournament to close out the season.

Lannon is a Speech and Theater major.

At Masconomet High School

Lannon was a four-sport athlete, competing in tennis, basketball, soccer and cross-country. She captained the tennis team her junior and senior seasons, playing #1 singles and finishing with a 57-12 record. She was a league all-star in 2003 and 2004 and was ranked in the top-20 by the USTA in the New England Section. She reached the quarterfinals of the state playoffs in 2003 and 2004.
