Fall 2007: Finn began her first year with an impressive start at the number one position: 1-0 in dual singles matches with a 5-2 record in tournament play. She was selected to participate in the 2007 Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Tournament for singles and doubles. Finn competed all the way to the “elite 8” in singles and doubles with partner Teresa Rodriguez. In other tournament action, Finn made it all the way to the semifinals of the NYSWCAA before falling to the number two seed, Weiner, from the University of Rochester . On September 24 th, Finn was selected as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week.

At John Jay High School
Finn was an outstanding tri-sport athlete, earning honors in Tennis, Basketball and Softball. The Goldens Bridge, NY native captained all three squads and earned All-Conference honors in each as well. She was named to the Journal News All-Star Second Team for tennis, and was the team MVP as well. Finn was also a consistent figure on the Honor Roll during her tenure at John Jay High.
