Match 1: St. Lawrence 8, Hamilton 1
The Saints won matches one through eight in the opening women's match of the tournament with the first six going in straight games. Erni Hart won for the Saints 3-1 over Calling Sterling at seven and A.P. Daniels dropped her first match, but won the next three for a 3-1 over Allison Sears at eight. Emily Gambin picked up Hamilton's lone point with a 3-1 win at nine.
Match 2: William Smith 9, Vassar 0
The Herons opened defense of their Liberty League title with a 9-0 sweep of Vassar in Saturday's second women's match. William Smith dominated play with nine of ten matches going in straight games. Anna Moser of Vassar was the only Brewer to take a game as she battled Katie Hendricks of William Smith in a 3-1 match at number one. Moser won the first game
9-5, but Hendricks came back to win 9-7, 9-6, 9-2.
Match 3: St. Lawrence 9, Vassar 0
The Saints won their second match of the tournament with a 9-0 sweep over Vassar Saturday afternoon. St. Lawrence dominated in all the matches, with each match going in straight games. Berkeley Wells defeated Lilia Totevska without losing a point (9-0, 9-0, 9-0) at six.
Match 4: Hamilton 6, Vassar 3
Vassar took matches one through three in the first Sunday women's match, but Hamilton won the rest for a 6-3 win over the Brewers. Katie Siegel of Vassar prevailed in a five-game match with Madeleine Sullivan at two as Sullivan came back from two down to force the deciding fifth game, won by Siegel 9-5.
Match 5: William Smith 9, Hamilton 0
The Herons set up a showdown with St. Lawrence for the tournament title with a 9-0 blitzing of Hamilton. The only match to go more than three straight games was at seven where Serena Turner topped Callen Sterling of Hamilton 3-1, winning the first two games 9-0 and 9-5, losing the third 9-3, but closing it out with a 9-0 win in the fourth game.
Match 6: William Smith 7, St. Lawrence 2
The Saints took the top two matches, Katia Stipinovich winning 3-0 and Ashley Eldredge winning 3-2, but the Herons took the rest to capture their second straight championship. Shaila Pandole, Lori Stump and Lucy Ross all won 3-1 at three through five; Maddie Brooks won 3-2 at six and Serena Turner, Emily Gailun and Katie Baker won 3-0 at seven through nine to give the Herons the championship.
