Lauren Sischo '09

Midfield

Rodman, NY
South Jefferson

2007: Sischo's junior year campaign brought her 17 more games and starts to add to her streak, bringing it to 50 after the completion of the 2007 season. For the third year in a row, the Rodman, NY native led the team in goal scoring (6), in points (12), and in shots (43), and was tied with the most game-winning goals, as she netted two in 2007. She was named Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week once throughout the season after a six-point weekend that included the game-tying and game winning goal against Oswego State. The midfielder and team co-captain was also named to the 2007 Liberty League All-Academic Team and was first team conference selection for her performance throughout the season.

2006: Sischo continued to be one of the Liberty League's most potent offensive weapons as a sophomore, scoring a career best nine goals and 19 points. The Rodman, NY native continued her 33-game starting streak, and scored three game-winning goals, including overtime winners against Elmira College and Rensselaer. For her efforts, Sischo was named a First Team All-Conference forward. She will also look to be a major contributor to the St. Lawrence women's basketball team this winter. Throughout the 2006-2007 academic year, Sischo made Dean's List and was accepted into Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honorary.

2005: Sischo made an immediate impact for the Saints, starting in all sixteen games in her rookie season. The Rodman, NY native was tied for the team lead in goals with three, and led the squad with 27 shots. Sischo earned All-Star Honorable Mention status from the Liberty League, and was on the Dean's List in both the fall and spring semesters. She is an active member of the campus community as well, working with SAAC and the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Her leadership and talents earned her the 2005-2006 Ronald Hoffmann Freshman Scholar Athlete Award.
