2008: Wipfler anchored the Saints' defense in her senior season, earning a start in each of St. Lawrence's 16 games. The Portland, ME native who served as co-captain in 2008, picked up 30 ground balls and won one draw control while causing 11 turnovers, the second most of anyone on the squad. Her efforts on the defensive end of the field made her a Liberty League Honorable Mention.

2007: In her junior season, Wipfler played and started in 13 games. She picked up 18 ground balls and controlled three draws as well as caused six turnovers.

2006: Michaela had another strong season on defense for the Saints as a sophomore contributing seven ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover.

2005: Wipfler had an impressive start to her career with the Saints, earning Liberty League Honorable Mention honors. She stepped into a starting role for on defense. She was able to shutdown many of the leading scorers in the league. She played in all 14 games. She had one shot, picked up 19 ground balls and caused five turnovers.

At Deering High

Wipfler was a three-sport athlete at Deering, competing in soccer, diving and lacrosse. In soccer, as a captain, she earned MVP and all-state honors. In lacrosse, she was a two-time captain and earned all-state honors. Wipfler was an academic All-America selection.
