2008: In her final season at St. Lawrence, Skinner started in each of the team's 16 contests and enjoyed the best season of her career. The co-captain tallied three goals and added eight assists for a career-high 11 points, while picking up 14 ground balls, two draw control wins, and causing two turnovers. The Liverpool, NY native was a Liberty League All-Academic selection for the third straight year.
2007: Skinner suffered injury throughout most of her junior year and was only able to play in the last past of the season, as the Liverpool, NY native appeared in six games and earned her first two collegiate starts of her career. The attack scored a goal and an assist for two points, while also controlling one draw and causing two turnovers. Skinner was named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team and was named to the IWLCA Honor Roll for her outstanding accomplishments in the classroom.
2006: In her sophomore season, Skinner played in six games and scored one goal while adding three assists for four points. She also picked up two ground balls in her second year with St. Lawrence. She was an All-Academic selection.
2005: Skinner played in five games in her rookie season with the Saints. She scored three goals and had two assists. She earned Rookie of the Week honors on March 28, when she cored her first two collegiate goals off the bench in the win at William Smith on Saturday. Her second, with 2:32 to play, brought the Saints to within one at 11-10 before SLU tied it with 32 seconds to go in regulation.

At Liverpool
Skinner competed in lacrosse and field hockey at Liverpool High School. She earned US Lacrosse Academic All-America honors in 2003. Her lacrosse team was the league champion in 2003 and 2004. In field hockey, she was a member of the 2002 Regional Championship team, and the 2002 & 2003 Sectional Championship team.
