2008: Morse proved to the team and the Liberty League what a valuable asset she will be to the Saints in her four years at St. Lawrence, as the midfielder earned a start in every game throughout her rookie season. Besides leading the first year class, Morse tallied 40 goals, the second highest on the team, and added eight assists for 48 total points, also the second highest on the squad. The first year also tallied three game winners, each of them coming during the three games played in West Palm Beach, Florida, against Mt. Holyoke, Scranton, and Springfield, which helped her earn the conference's 'Rookie of the Week' title on March 24. It was her efforts on every part of the field that demonstrated her versatility, as she also picked up 27 ground balls, controlled 33 draws, and caused a team-high 14 turnovers. Her statistics rank her amongst the top on the team as well as in the Liberty League, as the Peaks Island, ME native was in the top ten in goals and points in the conference in 2008, helping her earn the 2008 Liberty League Rookie of the Year title.
