2008: Marchand helped lead St. Lawrence to an 11-5 overall record and a 5-3 conference mark, the best records they've had in half a decade, as well as the Liberty League Championship Tournament, in her first season. The rookie started in each of the 16 games and had 144 saves for a .406 save percentage, while allowing 211 goals for a 13.20 goals against average. She faced 446 shots in her first season.

At Middlesex
Marchand was a two-sport athlete, competing in ice hockey and lacrosse for four years. She was both an All-League and Northeast All-Star selection in lacrosse in 2007 and captained the squad her senior year. Marchand was an Honorable Mention All-American and the recipient of the Alumni Award.
