2008: In her junior season, Forbes continued to shine for the Saints as she led the team in goals (43) for the second consecutive season, as well as draw control wins (53), and was third in total points (47). The midfielder recorded her third game-winning goal of her career against Wells College. Not only was the Glens Falls, NY native a leader on the team, but she was also ranked in the top ten in the conference in goals, points, and draw controls. She was selected as the Liberty League's Offensive Performer of the Week after she led the Saints to three consecutive conference wins that landed them in the Liberty League tournament. Her efforts in those three games were also noted by WomensLacrosse.com, as she was named Division III Player of the Week. Forbes was named to the conference's Second Team for the second straight year for her accomplishments.

2007: Forbes had a breakout season her sophomore year, as she became a consistent starter for St. Lawrence, starting in 13 of their 14 contests. The midfielder led the team in goals (41) and points (44) and she tallied her first collegiate game-winning goal against Liberty League opponent Skidmore College on March 27. Her second game-winner came against the University of Rochester. Controlling 38 draws ranked the Glens Falls, NY native second on the team, while her 21 ground balls tied her for second. Her efforts earned her a spot on the Liberty League Second Team as well as the NYSWCAA First Team.

2006: Forbes played in nine games for the Saints in her first year of collegiate lacrosse and scored three goals and assisted on five. She also had five ground balls, five draw controls and four caused turnovers.

At Glens Falls High School

Amanda played soccer and lacrosse and was an alpine ski racer. She earned first team honors in the Capital District in lacrosse in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and was captain of the team in her junior and senior year. She was a first team all star in soccer in 2004 and captain in her senior year. She was a two-time state qualifier in skiing and was an honor roll student.
