2007-2008: Stanton was key for St. Lawrence off the bench, playing in 26 of the 29 games in her rookie season. Stanton added 59 points and 38 rebounds and had two double-digit games against conference opponents Vassar and nationally-ranked William Smith.

At Avon
Stanton was a three-time LCAA Division II All-Star and two-time Player of the Year for her performance with the varsity basketball team. She was a two-year captain and led her team to three straight LCAA Division II Championships and a 60-8 record. In three seasons, she set the Avon Central scoring record with 922 points. She was also a three-time 2007 LCN Super 17 Player of the Year and a two-time class CC All-Star. She was on the high honor roll at Avon.
