2007-2008: Sischo was one of five Saints to start in each of the 29 games in 2007-2008 and was a big part of St. Lawrence's success that included a Liberty League Tournament win and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Rodman, NY native was the fourth-highest scorer on the team this season, scoring 216 points and grabbing 105 boards, and had a season-high 16 points against New Jersey City to help the Scarlet and Brown to the Championship game of the Stevens Tip-Off Tournament. Sischo was sixth in the conference in assists (85) and was an All-Academic selection for the second year in a row.
2006-2007: Sischo was an asset to the Saints off the bench in her sophomore year, as the Rodman, NY guard averaged more than 14 minutes a game. She tallied 48 points in 24 games and earned her first start of her collegiate career against Brandeis on November 19, 2006. Sischo also accumulated 32 assists, 29 rebounds, and 21 steals for the Saints. She was also named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team for her work off the court. Sischo major in chemistry and was the leading scorer for the Saints' soccer team this year.
2005-2006: Lauren played in 15 games for the Saints as a rookie and averaged 1.9 points per game. She had 17 assists and 17 steals. She played in six of the last seven games for the Saints and had six points and an assist in a win over Vassar.

At South Jefferson High School
Sischo competed in soccer, basketball, and softball. In basketball, Sischo was 1st team All State, 2nd team All-CNY, a Frontier League All-Star, and the All-North MVP. Serving as captain of the soccer team, she was 3rd team All State, a Frontier League All-Star, 1st Team All-North, and a Section 3 Class B All-Star. Sischo was inducted into the National Honor Society, was granted the NYS Excellence Award, and was named the Most Outstanding Senior.
