2007-2008: Palmer tallied a career-high 438 points and was the Liberty League's second highest point scorer only to teammate Jamie Wolff in her junior campaign. A starter in each of the Saints' 29 games, the forward's efforts was a key reason for St. Lawrence's Liberty League Tournament Championship, an honor which has eluded the Scarlet and Brown in recent years. The Saints also earned their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament, with Palmer scoring 37 points in the first and second rounds. The Bourne, MA native averaged 15.1 points per game and was fourth in the conference in steals with 63, helping her earn Liberty League First Team honors for the second straight year, as well as post-season accolades, which included being named an NYSWCAA All-Star. Palmer has twice been named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2006-2007: Palmer had an outstanding season for the Saints as she posted 372 points for the team, averaging just under 14 points a game, throughout their 28-game season. She led the team in total points and field goal percentage, guiding the Scarlet and Brown to a Liberty League regular season title, the conference championship game, and an NCAA Tournament spot. The Bourne, MA native was third in the league in field goal percentage (.512) and fourth in scoring. She was named Liberty League Forward of the Week five times throughout the season and scored a career-high 30 points against Rensselaer on February 2, 2007. Her efforts were rewarded when she was named the 2007 Liberty League Player of the Year as well as a WBCA Regional All-American. The guard was also named to the 2007 Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2005-2006: Katie played in 20 games for the Saints as a rookie and averaged 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. She was three for nine from three point range and had 15 assists, four blocks and 19 steals. She had a season high of 16 points in a win at Skidmore and also hit double figures with 11 points in a home win over Vassar.

At Falmouth Academy
Palmer was a tri-sport athlete, playing basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. Her efforts in basketball were rewarded, as she was selected captain of the team for both her junior and senior seasons. Palmer was a three time All-League selection, a two year New England Prep All-Star, and scored over 1,000 career points. She also captained the soccer and lacrosse teams, and was All-League in each as well. Palmer was inducted into the National Honor Society, and is double-majoring in economics and psychology.
