2007-2008: In her final year as a Saint, Fortener had her best season, playing in each of the 29 games and being a strong asset to the Scarlet and Brown off the bench. The Peachtree City, GA native tallied career highs in nearly every statistic, including total points (104), assists (20), rebounds (61), and steals (22). Her best game of the 2007-2008 campaign was against the Apprentice School, where she scored 12 points and shot 75-percent from the field.
2006-2007: In her junior year, Fortener made a big contribution to the Saints, scoring 90 points throughout the season and tallying 42 rebounds, 12 steals, 11 assists and six blocks for the Scarlet and Brown. The Peachtree City, GA native had a .632 free throw percentage.
2005-2006: Amy came off the bench and played in four games for the Saints, scoring five points on two of four from the field and one of one from the line.
2004-2005: Amy did not play in 2004-05.

At Our Lady of Mercy
Fortener was a tri-sport athlete, competing in basketball, volleyball, and track. Her leadership skills were apparent as she captained both the basketball and volleyball teams for four and two years, respectively. She was selected MVP of the basketball team three teams, and was chosen on to the All-County second team for basketball as well. Fortener was inducted into the National Honor Society, and received both First and Excellence Honors. At St. Lawrence, she intends to major in Biology with a minor in Sports Studies.
