At Immaculata
Benzing competed in both basketball and volleyball, and was named to the State Federation All-Tournament Team in 2006 for basketball. She was the recipient of the Varsity Basketball Athletic Achievement Award in the 2004-2005 season and was an All Western NY Scholar Athlete in 2006-2007. Off the court, she was the vice president of the National Honor Society and was valdictorian of her class.
