Pre-St. Lawrence

Roach was a tri-sport athlete, participating in hockey, basketball and fastball. The Ajax, Ontario native had an outstanding hockey career, winning gold with Team Ontario's U18 team at the Canada Winter Games in 2006-07. Roach also served as captain of the Jr. Lightning hockey squad, and was named the Varsity Hockey MVP at Ajax High School. The Ajax High School Female Athlete of the Year in both 2006 and 2007, Roach also landed on the Honor Roll all four years of her high school career. Born on November 14th, 1989, she is the daughter of Patrick and Donna Roach.
