2007: Pavlus recorded one of the best rookie seasons in St. Lawrence University history in 2007, as the Tupper Lake, NY native finished in the top-8 in each of the Saints' races, earning a bid to the 2007 NCAA Championships. Pavlus was named the Liberty League's "Rookie of the Year" as she finished 2nd in the conference meet (23:10) and earned New York State First Team honors with a 4th place finish at the NYSCTC Championships (17:55). In her final race of the season, Pavlus finished in 50th place overall out of 280 competitors at the NCAA Championships with a time of 22:30.

At Tupper Lake High School

Pavlus ran for both the Cross Country and Track programs, earning All-State honors in cross country four straight seasons (2003-06). The Tupper Lake, NY native, who captained the track captain for two seasons, was also the New York State Division II Champion in the steeplechase. Pavlus was impressive in the classroom as well, where she earned NAC All-Academic honors in 2005 and 2006.
