2007: Lara played in 128 of 134 games for the Saints as a sophomore and was second on the team in service aces with 60. She also had 336 digs.
2006: Gibbons came off the bench for the Saints to help provide a consistent server and defender in her rookie year. She had 25 serving aces (0.52 per game) and 64 digs (1.33 per game) in 48 games played in her first season. She also collected two kills and one assist.

At San Francisco University High School
Gibbons was a dual-sport athlete, playing both volleyball and lacrosse. Thanks to her outstanding leadership characteristics, she was chosen to captain the volleyball team for two consecutive seasons. She was also a Finalist for the 2006 Coaches Award. Gibbons intends to study Fine Arts while attending St. Lawrence.
