SAINTS EDGE PLATTSBURGH 3-2
Oct. 16: Jessica Lucky had 20 kills and 21 digs and Abby Rose had 44 assists, 23 digs and five service aces as the Saint volleyball team improved to 15-11 on the season with a 3-2 win at Plattsburgh Tuesday night.
Plattsburgh won game one of the match 30-25, but the Saints came back with 30-28 and 30-26 wins to take a 2-1 lead in the match. Plattsburgh won game four 30-20 to force a tiebreaker and the Saints won that 15-12 to take the match.
Rose had three kills and three assisted blocks along with her assists and digs, Julia Congdon had eight kills, three aces and 18 digs and Kelly O’Connell had eight kills, three aces and three assisted blocks in the five games. Natalie Kurtz had six kills and five total blocks and Jordyn Buzza contributed five kills, 13 digs and four total blocks in the match.
The Saints will be back in action at the Skidmore Invitational this weekend.
