2007-2008: Walano closed out his St. Lawrence career with several career best swims throughout his senior campaign. Each of his season best times came at the end of the season UNYSCSA Championships, where he improved upon his previous personal best times as he closed out a successful four years as a Saint.
2006-2007: Steve Walano turned in some solid swims during first semester before studying abroad for the second half of the season. He will look forward to a strong senior year in the freetyle and backstroke.
2005-2006: Steve Walano is coming off a very successful 2005-2005 campaign. He played a major role in relays throughout the dual meet season, and dropped over a second in his 100 freestyle. Steve has been a team favorite and is always good for comic relief.
2004-2005: In his rookie season, Walano posted his best finish in the meet against Nazareth and Skidmore, placing third in the 100 Free. Against Lemoyne and Potsdam, placed fourth in the 50 Free.
Walano is a Fine Arts major.

At Cranford High
Walano was a three-sport athlete, competing for the swim, cross country and track and field teams. He was named captain of the swim team.
