2007-2008: Barone continued to be an asset to the Scarlet and Brown in his second year on the squad and showed much improvement from his first year, as the Westport, CT native achieved five career best times in 2008, with three of them coming at the UNYSCSA Championships in February. As a sophomore, Barone earned a spot on the Saints' A Relay in the 200 Free Relay event at the Liberty League Championships, where he helped his teammates to a fifth place finish in the race. At the UNYSCSA Championships, he was a member of the 11th place 400 Free Relay squad.

2006-2007: Brandon contributed to the Saints in the freestyle events, relays and in the 100 back in his rookie season. He was a member of the fourth place 200 medley relay team in the Liberty League Championships and on the seventh place 200 medley relay team at the UNYSCSA championships. He also swam on the 200 free relay team at States.
