2007-2008: Alexander had the best season of her St. Lawrence career in her senior campaign, as the North Tonawanda, NY native consistently dropped time in each of her races throughout the season, which was highlighted by four career best times at her final meet, the NYSWCAA Championships. Her highest finish in the dual meet season was second place in the 1000 free, where she defeated her opponent in the final 35 yards to make the event a crucial 1-2 punch for the Saints. Her efforts in the classroom earned her conference All-Academic honors.
2006-2007: Katie swam all the freestyle events for the Saints as a junior and posted her best times in the 200, 500 and 1650 in the NYSWCAA championships. She was third in the 800 free against Clarkson and had a fourth in the 1000 free against Skidmore and Potsdam.
2005-2006: Alexander showed great improvement in her distance freestyles events. She swam a career best 6:01.55 in the 500 Free, a drop of over 24 seconds. She also posted a 1:01.52 in the 100 free, her best as a member of the Saints swim team.
2004-2005: In her rookie season, Alexander placed fifth in the 200 Free and the 500 Free against RIT. Her fastest time in the 500 Free came in the meet against RIT. She also posted a fifth place finish in the 200 Free against Hartwick.
Alexander is a Government and Pre-Law major.

At North Tonawanda
Alexander competed in swimming and track and field at North Tonawanda. She captained the swim team and made the sectionals in 2002, 2003, and 2004. She was a member of the honor society and named a Who's Who All-American Scholar.
