At Whitcomb

Gates was a three-sport athlete, competing in Softball, Soccer and Basketball. The Bethel, VT native captained all three of those teams during her senior year and was a First Team CVL All-Star in each as well. Gates was a member of the National Honor Society and served as the Student Council's President and Vice President during her tenure.
