At New Roads High School

Alvarez was a dual-sport athlete, participating on the varsity Softball and Volleyball squads. The Los Angeles, CA native showed outstanding leadership qualities, as she served as a four-year captain of both teams. Alvarez matched her hard work on the softball diamond in the classroom, where she was an Honors student.
