She will see time in multiple positions this season as a pitcher, infielder, and outfielder.
Austin played in 9 games in her first year, and batted .250. She will see time on the mound and at first base. Rodriguez, an outfielder, and Bottego, a first baseman, will also be expected to help out on both sides of the ball.
Saints without collegiate experience include juniors Jessica Smith, Andrea Muszynski, and first years Lilah Brown, Krista Chadwick, Katie Dreher, Janelle Graves, and Jessica Young. Smith and Muszynski will see time in the outfield, and on the offensive side of the ball. Brown, Chadwick, and Dreher will look to get time in the infield, Chadwick will also play in the outfield.
