SAAC Meeting Minutes – March 30, 2008

I. National Student-Athlete Day

- Wednesday, April 2 nd

- Show your team pride by wearing your SLU gear to class!

- Reminder: The National Student-Athlete Day Luncheon is being held from

12:00-1:00 pm in Eben Holden. Don’t forget to attend if you have been selected by your coach!

III. Star Search

- Held on Monday, April 14 th at 8:00 pm in Burkman Gymnasium ($1 admission)

- Please start/continue talking to your teams about coming up with something to perform

- MONDAY, APRIL 7 th is the new deadline to inform us if your team is participating!

- The following FRIDAY, APRIL 11 this when everything is due, including what you are planning to do, music selection, etc…

*We are planning to advertise for Star Search starting this Tuesday. The current plan for the poster is an American Idol theme, with a picture of Randy, Paula, and Simon on the poster. If anyone has any creative ideas, or a catchy slogan please email Meg, Austin, or one of the officers ASAP!

IV. Church and Community Program

- Wednesday: Women’s soccer team volunteered to help at the food bank

- More details to come about teams helping the remainder of the semester!
