SAAC INITIATIVE FOR FALL OF 2005-2006: Throughout the fall, our athletic teams have been volunteering time at the Church & Community Programs Food Bank. Each Wednesday afternoon, a specific team is assigned to help unload a truck of food, stock shelves, and bag food for good will dinners and local community needs. The project has been a huge success and time saver for program director Shari Wilcox. It has really brought a sense of community outreach for the teams that have been involved and the schedule that is set up from week to week is working smoothly. We will be continuing our involvement with the Church and Communty programs throughout the entire year.
