TIM HALE TO RECEIVE SERVICE AWARD
Tim Hale, SUNY Oswego Athletic Director, is the 2009 recipient of the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Service Award. This award is given in recognition of his contributions to the sports of Track & Field and Cross Country, as well as the NYSCTC organization during his over 30 years as a Coach and Athletic Director.
After graduating from SUNY Cortland, Tim assumed coaching and teaching positions at Lemoyne College and SUNY Plattsburgh, before spending over 25 years at the University of Rochester. This very special accomplishment was a precursor to U of R men’s cross country winning the NCAA Division III Championship in November of 1991.

He also took a major role in developing the constitution which joined the separate men’s and women’s organizations in to our current structure. His time on the NCAA Rules Committee benefited both our NYS schools and the Division III membership as a whole. Please join us in recognizing our 2009-2010 NYSCTC Service Award Winner: Tim Hale
