Atlantic Region Preseason Rankings and Comments

1. SUNY Geneseo Return top 5 from 1st Place Regional team last year, including indiv.champ, Jenn Rettke.
2. Ithaca College Return 5 of their top 7 from last year--Good Recruiting class
3. Hamilton Return many of their top runners from last year including All-American Maggie Hanson who was abroad last fall.
4. College of New Jersey Return their entire team from last year-Good recruiting class
5. Rensselaer Return their top 5 from last year's regional race-Led by 7th place finisher Katie Roden.
6. St. Lawrence Return 3 of their top 5 runners from last years regional. Lost last years top runner, Kate Underwood who is abroad.
7. Oswego State Return 3 of their top 5--Good recruiting class.
8. Rochester Return their top 7 from last year plus add a few new faces who could be in their top 5.
9. Cortland Return their top group from last year.
10. Rowan Lost two Sr's up-front but return a solid group.

A number of other teams including Plattsburgh, Hartwick, Fredonia and William Smith also received votes and could move quickly into the top 10. Please keep the votes coming!
