Pepper, a native of Old Forge, NY, had a season-best 38 th place finish at the Vermont Carnival in the Freestyle Sprints. “I congratulate Bryan on receiving this nomination, and it’s great that he’s being recognized for his years of participation on the Mid-Atlantic junior national squad,” said Saints head coach Ethan Townsend.
Also competing with Pepper at the 2008 Junior Nationals were sophomore Johannah Ludington and rookies Sophie Allen, Hannah James and Arla Casselman.
“Though several of our team members were affected by untimely illness, competing in this event is great experience for them, and I’m excited that they had the chance to race,” added Townsend.
