2007: In his sophomore season, McClelland was a consistent figure in the Saints line-up during the carnival season, competing in seven of the team's nine individual races. The Keene Valley, NY native posted a new collegiate best finish with a 41st place showing in the Classic Sprints at the Williams Carnival. McClelland was also on the Saints' 3x3 Sprint Relay that finished in 7th place overall at the St. Michael's Carnival (teammates included Eric Wolcott and Zach Wetherell).
2006: McClelland had a solid rookie campaign for the Saints, traveling with the team to four carnivals. His best finish was a 44th place showing in the 20km Freestyle event at the EISA Championships at Middlebury. The Keene Valley, NY native also qualified for the 2006 Junior Olympics in Houghton, MI in March, where he posted a 17th place finish in the Sprint race.
