Final Meet Information

 

 

Facilities:       

Newell Field House

·        8 lane, 200 meter Martin ISS 1000 Track

·        8 lane straightaway

·        Multiple Field event venues

·        Throwing events will be contested from a raised wooden circle.

·        Olympic style starting blocks will be provided

·        ¼” spike max.

 

Entries/Rosters:

 

                        Please E-mail or Fax a roster of all potential competitors by 6:00pm on

Wednesday, January 22,  2003.  e-mail—jnewman@stlawu.edu or 315-229-5589. This will give us a head-start in preparing entries.

 

Final Entries-Should be completed by using the attached form and e-mailing  or faxing to the same address 12:00noon on Thursday, January 23th.  Please use a separate form for Men and Women.  Scratches can be made by 11:00am on Saturday.

 

Entry Fee:            $75.00/Team(Men’s and Women’s are separate teams)

 

Awards:            Overall Team Champions will receive a commemorative award.

 

Timing:            Finish-Lynx Timing system will be utilized.

 

Rules and Scoring:            Scoring will follow NCAA RULES —

                                   

 

Parking:         All vehicles should park in the new lots behind and adjacent to Newell Field House.

 

Locker Rooms:            General locker and shower facilities will be available.

 

Schedule:       A tentative schedule is attached.

 

Weigh-IN’s:   We will weigh-in all implements from 11:00-11:30 in the Field House.

 

Results:          We will be using the Finish-Lynx and Hy-Tek systems.

 

Training Room:            Our new Athletic Training Center is located adjacent to the Track complex and will be available for your athletes.
