2006-07: Alex competed in distance races for the Saints. He ran a season's best in the mile run at the Saints Indoor Classic with a time of 4:57.39. He placed seventh.

At G. Ray Bodley High School

Fisher competed in cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field. He was a two time cross country MVP and captain of the team his senior season. He was captain of the indoor track team his junior season and captain of the outdoor team during his senior campaign. He was named All-league following his senior season.
