2006-07: Eric had an outstanding freshman campaign throwing for the Saints. He finished 14th in the weight throw at the ECAC Championships with a throw of 14.05 meters, a season's best in the event. He also competed in the shot put where he finished eighth at the Cornell Deneault Invitational with a throw of 14.05 meters.

At Watertown High School

Jones played football and participated in track and field. He was also a member of the honor roll. Jones will compete in sprints for the Saints and is also a member of the football team at St. Lawrence.

He is an undecided major.
