Fall 2007: Cook began his First Year fall with an impressive 3-0 dual match singles record as the Saints number 3, including wins over Oneonta, Skidmore, and Ithaca. He was selected as the September 17 th Liberty League Rookie of the Week. In tournament action Cook advanced to the Round of 16 in the SLU Fall Classic “A Draw” losing in a third set super-tie breaker, 10-3, to Rochester’s Bowman. In doubles, Cook and partner Jon Satkowski had an overall impressive 4-2 record with wins over Oneonta and Ithaca. Doubles partners Cook and Satkowski also advanced to the semifinals of the SLU Fall Classic “A Doubles” Draw. Cook was also selected to participate in the 2007 Wilson/ITA North East Regional Tournament for singles and doubles. After dropping his first round match to Vassar’s Willner, Cook rebounded all the way to the quarterfinals of the Consolation falling to Ithaca’s Borda 8-4.

At Thayer Academy
Cook put together a fantastic career on the tennis court, where he was named the MVP of the varisty tennis team as a freshman. The Brookline, MA native went on to earn All-League Fifth Singles that same season, and by 2007, he was a First Team All-League Doubles player. Cook, who also captained the tennis team his senior year, landed on the Honor Roll throughout his final three years.
