2004: Savitz started all 20 games for the 16-3-1 Saints and had a goal and three assists for five points in his junior season. He was named an Academic All-American this season, as well as First Team Regional All-American. Savitz was also named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2003: In his second season, Savitz returned for a strong performance, starting all 20 Saint games, and chipping in 7 points. He scored his lone goal on a penalty kick against Skidmore, and also added 5 assists on the season. Savitz was named to the Third-Team All-Northeast Region team, the UCAA All-Conference Second Team and All-Academic Team this season.
2002: Savitz jumped right into the starting lineup as a rookie, scoring one goal and adding three assists. He helped start the Saints comeback against Cortland with an assist on fellow rookie Gil Schaper's goal with less than 20 minutes to play.

At Point Loma High School
Savitz, who graduated in the top 5 % of his class, was on the All-Academic first team. He also played varsity soccer for four years and was the MVP and captain of his team. Savitz was also named to the All-Eastern League and was a participant in club soccer. Savitz is a History major at SLU and has been a National Academic All-American. He also participates in the SLU Buddies program.
