2007: Thornhill played in 14 of the 18 games his junior year, starting in three of them. The back from Montreal, Quebec helped the Saints earn eight shutouts in 2007.
2006: In his sophomore campaign, Thornhill continued to use his speed at back to help protect the Saints goaltender. Though he battled injuries during the season, he made the first six starts of his collegiate career and managed three shots.
2005: Thornhill used his explosive speed to both stop opponent's rushes and to create some of his own for the Saints. As a rookie, the Montreal, Que. native played in nine games and took five shots.

At the Loomis Chaffee School
Thornhill played on the Lac-St. Louis Lakers and was on the 2003 Quebec Provincial ODP Team, which won the Gold Medal in the Canadian National ODP Tournament. He was selected as the Junior Outstanding Athlete of the Year and Senior Athlete of the Year at Loomis Chaffee. At St. Lawrence, Thornhill plans to major in Economics.
