2007: While he was out due to injury for much of the season, Merrill was the third-highest point scorer for the Saints in 2007. Despite only being able to play in 9 games, the Kennebunk, ME forward managed to net three goals and two assists, totalling 8 points for the season and averaging nearly a point in each game he played. One of his two assists the game-winner against Elmira College. He finished his career with 31 total points, putting him on the Saints Highest Scoring Leaders list. Of Merrill's 15 shots, 10 were on goal. He earned Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week honors after his performance at the Lotto Tournament, where he led the Saints with two goals throughout the weekend.
2006: Merrill continued to be a primary weapon for the Saints on the offensive end of the field in his junior season. The Kennebunk, ME native scored three goals and notched a career and team-high five assists for 11 total points. Merrill was given Honorable Mention status by the Liberty League for his efforts in 2006, which included a multi-goal game against RIT on September 15th. He also scored a dramatic breakaway goal to lift the Saints to a 2-1 victory over Middlebury in the NCAA Tournament's opening round.
2005: Merrill had a fantastic sophomore year under Coach Durocher, increasing his playing time greatly from his rookie season. The Kennebunk, ME native played in seventeen games, including seven starts. He took 25 shots and tied for the team-high in goals scored (5) and was third in points (12). Merrill worked his way on to the Dean's List in 2005 as well, and is studying Religious Studies at St. Lawrence.
2004: Merrill saw action in 13 games in his rookie year and took 6 shots.
