2007: In his rookie season, tallied two goals for the Saints, including the game winner against Liberty League opponent RPI. His first collegiate goal was scored in the second game of the season against Bridgewater State on September 2nd, helping the Saints to the Lotto Tournament title. His two goals put him at the top of the first-year class in number of goals scored in 2007. The Webster, NY native played in all 18 games for the Scarlet and Brown, taking 10 shots, 7 of those on goal. He was named Liberty League Rookie of the Week after his game-winning goal.

At Webster Thomas High School
Hefner played soccer and was earned a spot on the All-County 2nd Team and the All-Tournament team. He was a consistent name on the high honor roll, and was the recipient of the Marine Corps Award.
