MARSHALL NAMED ECAC ALL-STAR

Apr. 5: Aaron Marshall was named to the ECAC Division III Upstate First-Team earlier this week. The senior forward was a first-team Liberty League and first-team D3Hoops East Region member, averaging 10.4 rebounds per game and 21.8 points per contest on the year. Marshall was named to the second team last year.

 

 

 

MARSHALL EARNS SPOT ON D3HOOPS ALL REGION TEAM

 

Mar. 22: Aaron Marshall made the D3hoops East Region First Team. Players were nominated by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools. All SIDs in the region were given the opportunity to vote.

He is joined on the first team by Skidmore's Dana Martin, St. John Fisher's Sean O'Brien and Jeff Sidney, and Rochester's Seth Hauben.

 

 

DELMONICO EARNS ACADEMIC AWARD

 

Pat Delmonico has earned Liberty League All-Academic Team status for his excellence in the classroom.  Delmonico is a junior, and is studying economics.

 

 

MARSHALL, SULLIVAN HONORED BY LIBERTY LEAGUE

Feb. 24: Aaron Marshall and Keith Sullivan were both named Liberty League All-Stars today. The coaches around the league voted Marshall first-team Liberty League, and Sullivan was given honorable mention status.

 

Marshall (left) averaged 21.8 points per game, 10.4 rebounds per game, and a 60.5 field goal %. He also recorded 24 steals and 22 blocks on the year. Marshall is ranked 2nd in the league in scoring, 1st in rebounding, and 2nd in field goal %. He is also ranked 3rd in blocked shots, 3rd in offensive rebounds, and 1st in defensive rebounds. Starting every game for the Saints, he averages over 35 minutes a contest. As of 2/13, Marshall was ranked 18th in the country in points per game, 32nd in field goal %, and 22nd in rebounds per game, and was the only player in the country ranked in the top 35 in all three categories.

 

Sullivan (left) averaged 12.3 points per game, a 41.2 field goal %, and a 38.8 three point %. He also contributed 82 assists and 34 steals on the year. Sullivan is ranked 12th in the league in scoring, 3rd in assist/turnover ratio, 6th in three pointers made, and 7th in assists. He is also ranked 12th in steals, and 12th in three point %.

 

 

 

MARSHALL EARNS 5TH PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

 

Feb. 22: Aaron Marshall earned his 5th Liberty League Forward of the Week honor for his efforts against Union and Skidmore. This is his second honor is as many weeks.

 

Marshall scored 29 points against Skidmore in 36 minutes of play. He grabbed 14 rebounds, recorded 4 steals, and blocked 3 shots. Marshall scored 20 points against Union, and shot 10-14 from the floor. For the week Marshall averaged 24.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two games.
