2006-07: Travis Vermuelen had an outstanding rookie season for the Saints, playing in all 39 games with three goals and eight assists for 11 points. An outstanding penalty killer, he scored one shorthanded goal and assisted on two others. He scored the game winning goal in the home win over Quinnipiac and assisted on the game winner at Yale.
Pre-SLU: A teammate of Casey Parenteau on the Anderson Cup champion Sioux Falls Stampede, Travis scored nine goals and had 15 assists in 59 games. He also played soccer, tennis and golf and was captain of the soccer team. He graduated with honors from Centennial High School in Centerville. Travis is the son of Katrina Vermeulen. |
