The twin brother of Saint defenseman Derek Keller, Jared elected to play an extra year of junior hockey before entering St. Lawrence. A hard working and intense player, he scored 49 points on 15 goals and 34 assists in 44 games for the North Battleford Stars last season, helping the team to back-to-back conference championships. He was also Midget AAA MVP, earned Rookie of the Year honors and was the North Stars Most Dedicated Player Award winner.
Personal: The son of Bruno and Gina Keller, Jared attended John Paul II Collegiate High School and was an honor roll student. He also played football and baseball and was a member of the Midget AA Western Canada runner-up team and the Senior Provincial Championship team in baseball. |
