2006-07: Sean Flanagan had a solid rookie season, playing in 29 games and scoring five goals while assisting on ten others for 15 points. He was slowed late in the season by injury. He scored his first collegiate goal in a 3-2 win over Quinnipiac and had three power play goals for the season.
Pre-SLU: Sean, the nephew of Saint women's coach Paul Flanagan, had an injury-plagued year as a senior in high school, but has outstanding hockey credentials and is an excellent athlete. He was a member of three Section X high school championship teams and was a first-team All NAC choice three years, earning MVP honors. He was the 2004-05 Cornwall Colts best forward award winner. He played in 14 games for Cornwall last season with five goals and eight assists. He was an All America high school lacrosse player as well. Sean is the son of Jack and Kathy Flanagan. |
