At Southwestern Central

Doug played hockey and golf and was a four-time Scholar-Athlete Award winner. He was twice a sectional qualifier in golf, a three-time assistant captain in hockey and was a member of the New York State Championship hockey team. He was a member of National Honor Society and on the honor roll every semester. He was also a member of the New York State Scholar-Athlete Champion Golf Team.
