2007: Ramsey had a breakout rookie season, notching two top-10 finishes including a 6th place finish at Plattburgh State and a collegiate-best 4th place showing at the Liberty League Championships. The Essex Junction, VT native's best time of 2007 came at Connecticut College, where he ran in 26:28 and earned 35th place overall.

Ramsey competed in both Cross Country and Track. The Essex Junction, VT native had an outstanding athletic career, as he earned All-State honors three times for cross country and was both the team captain and MVP twice. Ramsey, who served as captain for the track programs, was a state champion in both Indoor and Outdoor track and holds the state record in the 3200m. Ramsey was also a member of the National Honor Society.
