2007: Mayers added depth to the Saints' roster in his first season with the team, competing in four events including the Liberty League Championships, where he finished in 68th position. The Lyme, NH native's best time of the season came in Saratoga, where he raced in a time of 29:11.

Mayers was a tri-sport athlete, participating in Cross Country, Hockey and Lacrosse. The Lyme, NH native captained the cross country squad in his senior year, and was chosen the Most Valuable Player for the team as well. Mayers was also given the Sportsmanship Award for hockey in 2007. He matched his athletic accomplishments with those in the classroom, as Mayers earned High Honors each marking period.
