1990 NCAA Finalist Lacrosse Team
The first St. Lawrence University women's athletic team to appear in a national championship game, the 1990 Saint women's lacrosse team went 15-1 and finished as NCAA Division III runner-up in one of the greatest seasons for any Saint women's athletic team. The Saints took a 15-game win streak into the national semifinals against top-seeded Roanoke and came away an impressive 14-7 winner. The Saints' dream of a national title came one goal short in a 7-6 loss to Ursinus, but it was a season which will rank among the best ever. It included the Saints' first ever NYSWCAA championship, a perfect 11-0 regular season record and six players on the national All America team, including four on the first team.
