Five Individuals, '79 Men's Lacrosse Team are '08 Inductees

                Five individuals and the 1979 men’s lacrosse team will join the St. Lawrence University Athletic Hall of Fame when induction ceremonies are held on Sept. 27.

                Cross country and track star Deborah Danehy Lyndaker ’97, three-sport standout Libby Bolster ’87, ice hockey scoring leader Pete Lappin ’88, basketball and soccer leader Chris Cleveland ’74 and Bernard Conners ’51, one of the nation’s leading rushers in football on the undefeated 1950 football team will be the individual inductees while the 1979 lacrosse team will be recognized for its record-setting season which concluded with an appearance in the NCAA College Division semifinals.

                Induction ceremonies will be part of a luncheon at the Eben Holden Dining Hall on Saturday, Sept. 27 with festivities beginning at 12:15. Tickets for the luncheon and the induction are $20 and may be reserved by calling Cheryl Kennedy at 315-229-5418.
